Overview

Botkube is a Kubernetes ChatOps platform that routes cluster events and alerts into Slack, Teams, Discord, or Mattermost with enriched context attached. When an event fires, Botkube adds pod logs, resource state, and related Kubernetes objects to the notification. AI Insights interprets the cluster state and explains the issue in plain English inside the chat thread.

Engineers respond directly from chat: run kubectl commands, execute remediation playbooks, or approve operations without switching to a terminal. Role-based access controls define which commands each user can run against which clusters.

Open-source core (single cluster, basic event routing) is available under Apache 2.0. Team and Enterprise tiers add multi-cluster support, AI Insights, and SLA. CNCF-listed project.
