Rootly is an incident management platform built around Slack as the primary interface. Incident declaration, escalation, runbook execution, stakeholder updates, and retrospective generation all happen through Slack slash commands and interactive message components without requiring a web app context switch.
The workflow engine is the product core: customizable workflows define what happens at each incident stage — which channels are created, which teams are paged, which runbooks run, and which status pages are updated. AI Copilot sits on top, suggesting relevant runbooks based on similarity to past incidents, drafting incident updates, and generating retrospective drafts from the timeline.
